Penélope Cruz's performance in Nine made me watch this movie (okok, i know it's a bit late). her performance in Vicky Cristina Barcelona is way much better than in Nine. the movie expresses the idea of freedom of love, which i don't agree but i respect. so if you are vicky, would you dare to get a divorce and start a new live in Barcelona?

No wonder why this movie has 4 oscar nominations but none of them succeed, it is boring......

My favorite scene is young Guido's visit to prostitute Saraghina with the song "Be Italian" rolling at the back.
